BISON Delivered …
Summers Accident Repair Centre is a five generation family-run business, based in Kent, and have operated on the same site since 1946.
They were one of the first British body shops to be approved by Audi and Volkswagen; to work for these leading brands everything has to be just right, from a skilled workforce to top-notch facilities. Their main aim is to remove the customer’s stress of dealing with the aftermath of an accident, whether it’s a small, light impact or full structural repairs.
Having created the Summers rebrand a new challenge awaited – to produce vehicle graphics for their ‘support sustainability’ recent investment of electric courtesy cars.
We wanted to showcase that supply chain collaboration and support is important in sustainability and actually a requirement to achieve net zero targets.
With this in mind BISON created and made the graphics from 100% renewable energy (harnessing natural energy from our 58 solar panels), we used responsibly sourced materials and created minimal waste (which was then composted, reused and recycled).
We also wanted to widen the lens to logistics – MD Mark Bidewell ran from Maidstone to Biddenden to collect and return the car (a total of 26 miles) and we fully charged the car whilst here, again taking advantage of a sunny day and using 100% renewable off-grid energy.
Upon its return Summers were thrilled with the quality of work the BISON team provided and going the extra miles to deliver it.
