The challenge
BISON was approached by One Maidstone Business Improvement District to help produce a high impact piece to go on display at the main entrance of The Mall Maidstone to honour this year’s remembrance campaign and bring the community together.
As a forty-year young family-run business in Maidstone, we’re very proud to have been involved in this local project to honour our troops and hope this poignant display provokes pride and reflection amongst the public on the lead up to Remembrance Day. The detailed design depicts the Army, the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy.

We worked closely with One Maidstone to help bring their vision to life, printing and installing a semi-transparent stained-glass effect graphic which not only creates a thought-provoking big impact but also makes the most of The Mall’s upgraded entrance.
Our team worked with the Great British autumnal weather to ensure the graphics were in place for the grand opening by the Mayor of Maidstone, Marion Ring which was attended by representatives of the Royal British Legion, serving members of the forces and our veterans.
