Estimated at £36 million (in today’s money), ‘The Field of Cloth of Gold’ was a magnificent tournament hosted in France in 1520 between King Henry VIII of England and King Francois I of France.
The event was to increase friendship bonds between the two countries, and it is believed King Henry VIII stayed at Leeds Castle 500 years ago on his way there.
BISON® was approached by Leeds Castle to produce large branded displays, and other information and marketing assets to help mark the event.
