Last week, the BISON team manned Stand 123 at the Kent Construction Expo in Detling — and what a show it was!
With our signature bright yellow internal signage boards (sustainably printed, of course, courtesy of … ourselves), you couldn’t miss us! We thoroughly enjoyed meeting lots of new people, networking with fellow businesses, and also bumping into some old faces.
A high point for BISON would have to be the talk given by Breakfast Speaker, Guy Holloway. This talk confirmed our deep-seated beliefs in the importance of sustainability to Kent’s (and the nation’s) business, stressing the need for change in the commercial sector’s attitude towards the environment.
Holloway’s quote, “The colour of tomorrow is green or no colour at all”, has stayed with us ever since and, although we are proudly BISON yellow, we couldn’t agree more about the green future of print.

Lastly, we must congratulate our friends at the GSE Group for winning Best Stand, as well as the other fantastic businesses who showed up with such enthusiasm.
Although in-person events like the Expo have taken a hit in recent years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is safe to say that conferences and networking events are back with a boom – as proven by last weekend’s success.
We can’t express how excited we are to be meeting current and future customers in person again. Normality has been restored!
Until next time, keep your eyes peeled for updates on the next event BISON will be attending, or, for more information about what we do, get in touch with the team.
