BITA x BISON Breakfast
Yesterday, Mark had the privilege of speaking at BITA’s final breakfast event of 2024 – and what a morning it was!
The room was full of incredible people, including the founder of BISON, Les Bidewell.
Mark reflected on two amazing family organisations: BISON, which Les started nearly 50 years ago and continues to thrive thanks to our dedicated team, and The Big Cat Sanctuary, with whom we’ve shared a rewarding journey together – the work showcased also how BISON has diversified to support our clients in innovative and impactful ways.
We were also treated to a video update from BITA President Paul Whitnell, who is currently in South Africa doing remarkable work for the BITA charity. His dedication is truly inspiring and reminds us of the global impact we can have.
A highlight of the morning was hearing Carly Northwood from On Grade Earthworks and Stabilisation Ltd share some kind words about BISON’s ability to deliver – a true testament to the passion of our team.
And there was some breaking news from Tanith Brown at The Big Cat Sanctuary: their Big Cats in Crisis Ukraine Rescue Campaign has hit its incredible £500k target!
Emma Stafford and David Dadswell delivered heartfelt speeches that brought even more focus to the fantastic work of Heart of Kent Hospice. In true BITA spirit, the room rallied, with people signing up to support HOKH’s post-Christmas campaign.
It was a morning of connection, celebration, and action – catching up with old friends, meeting new faces, and coming together for causes that matter.
Thank you, BITA, for another unforgettable event. Here’s to continuing the great work into 2025!
