“This is my great Grandad George’s Ford Model-T truck! …
This photo I have cherished for most of my life! It is in fact a feature wall in BISON HOUSE and has been a great talking point over the years.
Back in the 1900s, based in St Mary Cray my family were coal merchants and Dad, the founder of MADE BY BISON was born into this hard-working industry.
It seems both ironic and most fulfilling that here we are a century later promoting ‘everything but’ coal – but – to this very day still using a Bidewell & Son branded Ford Motor Company commercial vehicles (bi-son).
Looking back at our history makes me very proud – to see how hard my predecessors worked and how privileged I am to be empowered to keep the family business flame alive several generations later.
